CVYSA STAFF
The Catawba Valley Youth Soccer Association is a non-profit organization existing under the laws of the State of North Carolina and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Officers of the CVYSA Board of Directors shall be a President and Vice-President elected annually from the members of the Board of Directors by a simple majority of the nine directors. Two additional positions are non-voting members of the Board, Treasurer and Secretary.
CVYSA provides professional coaches that are among the best in the region. Most of the fees paid by players support coaching fees, stipends and expenses. Many CVYSA coaches are current or former college coaches and players with some having international credentials and experience. All coaches are experienced and most hold United States Soccer Federation (USSF) coaching licenses.
CVYSA relies heavily on volunteers. Many opportunities exist and they are available to parents of players, those interested in soccer in the region or anyone who is committed to our youth and providing a positive environment for them. These volunteers serve as registrars, fundraisers, field coordinators and a whole host of other positions. Please see any board member for current volunteer needs.
