The 95 Girls came home victorious from the NC State Kepner Cup on November 13th. In the Final Four weekend they first came up against CASL Premier on Saturday when they held onto a 1-0 lead in the first half. Their strong defense left CASL scoreless and a final score of 1-0.
On Sunday in the championship game they played GUSA Navy. Once again CVYSA scored in the first half to make it 1-0. Again, strong defense prevented GUSA from getting a goal and the final score was 1-0.
The 95 Girls have been finalists in many tournaments, but this is their first championship. Congratulations and we have a nice trophy for the club to display!
